What's New in Minecraft 1.14?If you're a Minecraft enthusiast, then chances are you have heard of the recent Minecraft 1.14 update. The update has added some cool new features and a couple of new monsters, so what can you expect in this big update? In this article, we will take a look at the big changes in Minecraft 1.14, both good and bad.First off, it's a very good thing that you can now make new mobs and other mobs. These new creatures will be your pals in this new and improved world. However, if you like your monsters, there are a few new monsters in this update. The first of these is the wither. The wither is a new form of mob that will use a special ability to destroy blocks.Next up, we have the elder dragon. The elder dragon is an extra hot item. It has both fire and water variants, which make it a very interesting monster to play with. You'll also see another dragon named twilight that is the same kind of crazy in a different way.Next up is the ender chest, which is a really tricky update. When you kill a mob, it drops its body parts in a chest. However, if you're not using an inventory scanner, there is a chance that the chest might not open or might open incorrectly. If you die while holding one of these chests, it will explode, dealing tons of damage and being a pain in the butt to get out of.Next up is the Botania. Botania has some very powerful flowers that will greatly improve the way you do your mining in the game. For the first time, you can even make mining diamonds easier. These flowers also give you XP and in order to plant the flowers, you will need the right kinds of XP lamps.One new entity is the guardian. These are creatures that will protect other mobs or give you quests, sometimes for you. They come in different colors, so if you have a green one, it may not be so friendly.All in all, I can't think of many things about Minecraft 1.14 that I'm not happy about. At first, the update seemed more as a gift than a new feature. However, after playing the new update for a bit, I have been completely hooked on the game. I haven't played the old version since April of 2020 and for the first time in ages, I'm not bored.
